Q Wrap-Up Your two module wrap-ups (in Modules 4 and 8) are worth 5% of your final grade. These reflections are personal to you and your academic, personal, and career growth. They also allow the instructor to provide you with better feedback as you move forward in the course. For this reflection, you will draw upon what you have learned during the past four modules. Things to Consider as You Write Your Reflection Critical reflection is an integral component of experiential learning connecting the learning to the experience. To reflect in experiential learning means to think critically about and analyze emotional responses to experiential activities in the context of course content and the learning objectives of a particular course or curriculum. Reference and answer questions in this guide for your writing: Critical Reflection Prompt.pdf Length As a guidepost, aim for 250-300 words. Writing Logistics Informal writing is expected in these reflections. The use of “I” statements is strongly encouraged. Your writing should be clear; the instructor wants to understand what you are sharing. Before submitting, be sure to also spell and grammar check. Sources You do not need to use sources in a reflective journal. This space is for you to process your own thoughts and feelings. That said, if you reference someone else, credit your source. From the previous four modules in the course, I have come to understand very well the importance of implementing cultural diversity in the workplace. At the very first, it is important to mention that presence of diversity in the workplace can create a deep impact on leadership. The proper form of leadership remains to be the face and voice of the company. On the other hand, if the workforce remains much more diversified then it helps in bringing some unique perspectives regarding the solving of problems and to gain some competitive edge. Hence, I feel that cultural diversity should not be understates in the workplace and this should remain clear to the employees as well.
